Responsibilities:

- Masters degree in economics, public policy, urban planning or a relevant field
- 3 to 6 years of research experience
- Strong communication and articulation skills with proficiency in English (speaking, writing and reading). Working knowledge of one more Indian language is required (preferably Hindi)
- Strong interpersonal/networking skills and willingness to collaborate
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Curious mindset to find a story in everything
- Particular about ensuring thoroughness in research and being non-partisan
- Ability to take initiative and create solutions with high ownership and perseverance
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and handle uncertainties with fluidity and adaptability
- Previous experience of working in virtual work environments/lean team setups
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet realistic deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment without compromising on quality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Google Suite
