Description: Clean Air Asia is looking for a full-time Air Quality Researcher to join our dynamic team at Clean Air Asia in New Delhi, India. A self-motivated individual with knowledge and skills in air quality management especially in the context of cities with strong interest in research, data analysis and policy interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management, Implementation, Reporting and Coordination
- Inputs to Knowledge Management and Capacity Building
- Building Partnerships among Clean Air Asia partners
Educational requirements:
- A post-graduate degree in air quality e.g. atmospheric science, environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental policy and/or development-related discipline
Experience requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience working with air quality, urban development, environmental issues
Desired Skills:
- Experience in project management and working with partners like government, industry, and others
- Strong interest and demonstrated capacity in research, data collection and analysis
- Excellent writing skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi/ local language/s would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
- Interest in implementation work and willingness to travel extensively .
