- Water Security in Himalaya through Spring Ecosystem Assessment and Management.
- Community Driven Eco-smart Model Village Development to Improve Livelihoods and Foster Ecological Security in the Himalaya.
- Fostering Climate Smart Communities in the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR).
- Mainstreaming Himalayan Biodiversity for Sustainable Development.

Educational requirements:
- First-class Master Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Earth Sciences/ Remote Sensing & GIS/Civil Engineering/Water Engineering/Agriculture Engineering with soil and water conservation/Geoinformatics/Geology/Environmental Sciences from a recognized university
- First-class Master's Degree in (M.Sc./M.A.) with Sustainable Science/Development/ M.S.W./Sociology/Anthropology/Economics/Environmental Science from a recognized university.
- First-class Master Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech/ other relevant) in Life Science, Botany, Environmental Science, Agriculture Science, Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
- First-class Master Degree (M.Sc./ M.Tech/ other relevant) in Life Science, (Botany/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology)/ Environmental Science/Biochemistry/Chemistry) Agriculture Science from a recognised university.
