Description: International Innovation Corps (IIC) is seeking a Research Associate to support the work of its Data and Technology vertical, at a project with the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) in  New Delhi. By working at the intersection of technology and policy, IIC’s Data and Technology projects pursue outcomes of open data, ethical technology and accountable policy infrastructure through partnerships between governments, civil society organizations and policy think-tanks.

Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct and organise landscape research pertinent to data, technology and artificial intelligence in India / Asia / the world.
  • Design and create collaterals for diverse stakeholders including funding and knowledge partners including research reports, presentation decks.
  • Compile research and insight reports to summarise key sector issues and topics for the Project and partner organization team.
  • Support knowledge dissemination and thought leadership activities by writing articles and research pieces on topical subjects.
  • Participate in relevant events and discussions to compile detailed minutes or insights for project and funder teams
  • Track developments in the data and technology sector in India and abroad.
  • Maintain regular communications with relevant stakeholders towards project outcomes and deliverables.
Educational requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree Degree/Diploma in Technology/ Policy/Development.
Experience requirements:
  • 2 years of work experience
  • Basic data analysis skills: both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Basic familiarity with Indian data and technology schemes.
  • Analytical skills, Presentation skills, Report-writing, Web-based Research, Communication, Time management.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with using data analysis and visualisation softwares.
  • Research on data and technology policy.
  • Familiarity with web-based research and work management tools.
