Description: We are currently scouting for a talented Urban Planner to join our growing Team of Civil Engineers who are planning Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Recreational areas using cutting edge Smart City tools. These positions will be a part of our core team based out of Bengaluru and will drive SECON's future efforts in Urban Planning through innovative technologies incorporating BIM and Big Data analytics.

Description: We are currently scouting for a talented Urban Planner to join our growing Team of Civil Engineers who are planning Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Recreational areas using cutting edge Smart City tools. These positions will be a part of our core team based out of Bengaluru and will drive SECON's future efforts in Urban Planning through innovative technologies incorporating BIM and Big Data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Design/Review Master plans, Regional plans, Sector plans using contemporary GIS based technologies/tools.
- Design layout plans for large Industrial layouts and assist in conduct of Environmental Impact Assessment, Site Analysis and Environmental Audits
- Design/Review mixed use plans - Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Recreational, Industrial areas and Tourism Development plans.
- Assist in the conduct of the following studies, amongst others.
- Socio-economic impact assessment and Demographic studies.
- Conduct of transportation and Traffic management studies.
- Solid Waste Management Studies
- Disaster Risk Assessment and Emergency Management Studies
- Prepare feasibility reports and planning briefs
- Master’s degree from a reputed college/university in Urban Planning/Architecture with a Bachelor’s degree in related field. .
- Demonstrated experience of 7-10 years in planning of large industrial layouts, residential townships, mixed use development projects.
- Experience of planning/supervising the implementation/construction of one large Industrial/mixed use layout measuring a minimum of 1000 acres is a must.
- Well-established professional network in the sector, high level of market awareness along with excellent oral and written communication skills in English is expected from the candidate.
