Program Manager, Punjab
Organization: Air Pollution Action Group (A-PAG)
Location: Chandigarh/Delhi with frequent travel within Punjab

Type: Full-time - 1 year contract, renewable
Salary: Compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience and skillsets.

Responsibilities:
- Strategy development (30%)
- Program Management (40%)
- Stakeholder management (20%)
- Support in developing IEC content (10%)
Educational requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a strong record of academic performance is required.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience requirements
- Experience of 3-5 years, working in programme operations with the government or development sector.
- Individuals who have previously worked as district fellows or have been part of top Indian fellowship programs are encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi and English is a must.
- Prior experience working in agriculture or familiarity with issues in agriculture is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills and an ability to set priorities and timelines.
- Experience working with government officials at the state and/or district level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially report writing.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments; self-starter that can use good judgment and resourcefulness to take action in the absence of clear guidance.
- Computer proficiency with a familiarity of MS Office tools.
