Responsibilities:
Supporting State Rural Livelihood Missions
- Build strong relationships with departments responsible for welfare access and sustainable rural livelihoods
- Set-up and run project management units to aid government departments to improve outcomes
- Identify unmet needs, break down problem statements and help implement solutions
- Help CSOs improve relationships, partnerships and to meaningfully leverage expertise, infra and resources of govt departments
Partnerships Strategy and Implementation
- Actively listen to feedback from government departments and other stakeholders to sharpen design
- Engage with departments to scale via convergence of government programs and schemes to targeted geo and thematic areas
- Build strategy, implementation design, processes for geo-specific and thematic-area specific interventions
- Align strategy and implementation to priorities of state departments
- Build proposals to appropriate departments to gain support for CSOs
- Work with program management and M&E team to track, record and disseminate progress
- Collect feedback and close loop; ensure timely and organized communication
Educational requirements:
- Relevant degree
- Private and non-governmental orgs experience
- Experience working in government roles – especially rural portfolios (agriculture, irrigation, tribal & social welfare, SRLMs)
- Experience managing orgs working on welfare access and/or sustainable livelihoods
- Consulting experience in the development sector / other sectors
