Description: Arabesque is We are looking to hire a new ESG Specialists with experience in sustainability policy and regulation globally to join our team and contribute to Arabesque’s global growth. You will be responsible and accountable for contributing to the growth of Arabesque S-Ray’s knowledge library product and for ensuring consistently high-quality research..
Responsibilities:
- monitor and classify developments in ESG related polices and regulations from across 70+ jurisdictions globally;
- maintain high research quality standards, keeping track of recent legislative updates, reviewing legal databases and updating our knowledge base accordingly;
- understand the similarities and differences between different regulations and policies globally, in order to identify overlaps;
- contribute to thought leadership pieces on ESG regulation (optional);
- liaise with the research office on integrating ESG polices and regulation information into rating and scoring models.
Profile requirements:
- have 3-5 years of professional experience in research, think tanks, academic institutes focused on developing or analyzing national sustainability policies and regulations
- have a demonstrable interest in ESG policy developments and trends, with a specific knowledge of ESG regulations in certain jurisdictions;
- are familiar with articulating analytical viewpoints and work with excellent attention to detail;
- possess a fluent command of the English language—speaking and writing;
- are not afraid of new empirical challenges and mastering a new area of expertise;
- possess excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel;
- ability to read multiple languages is a plus.
