Responsibilities:
- Chief Contract Administration Expert -
- Support Project Director and Deputy Project Director, chief Resident Engineers’ management and interpretation of D&B contracts.
- Review correspondence from D&B contractors on contractual matters and advice PD on the line of response.
- Review and analyze request from D&B contractors for variations and vet their solutions contractually.
- Check stage payments to D&B contractors and statutory and contractual recoveries thereof with respect to provisions in the contract.
- Review and analyze the claims that may be received from D&B contractor and give his advice on the same.
- Advise PD on matters that must be referred to the Employer as per contract for acceptance / final decision.
- Review and critically examine the extension of time requests, if received.
- Review Value Engineering proposals received from the D&B Contractors.
- Assist the Employer in DAB and Arbitration Proceedings.
- Chief Civil Design Engineer -
- Review of 'As Built' drawings for each component of the civil works prepared by the Contractors and determine their acceptability under the terms of the Contracts.
- Coordination with field supervising team and design team for ensuring quality monitoring during the construction phase.
- Coordination with DFCCIL / MOR for progress report and any query related to civil works.
- Review all relevant field test requisite during the civil works and Environment Management Plan
- Chief Engineer – (Civil) -
- Supervise and coordinate for execution & implementation of each component of civil works
- Coordination with field supervision team and design team for ensuring quality monitoring during the construction phase.
- To maintain the Safety, health and environment of the employees and workers at site during the construction phase as per the standard safety manuals.
- Reviewing the field test results conducted in each component of civil works.
- Review all the progress reports and identify the delays in respective components.
- Coordination with Project director and other senior experts on a regular basis for the identified issues.
- Conducting field visits on each construction site during the regular inspection.
- Chief Engineer – (Environment) -
- Conducting the relevant studies & investigations for the preparation of Impact Assessment for Environment and social aspects.
- Preparation of Environment Management Plan for each component of project deliverables.
- Coordination with field research team and other project teams for civil & electric works team for ensuring quality monitoring during the construction phase.
- Reviewing the field research and environmental investigations carried out in project area
- Conducting field visit on each construction site during the regular inspection.
Profile requirements:
- Chief Contract Administration Expert - The ideal candidate must have minimum a bachelor degree in relevant fields and more than 12 years of experience, with at least 6 years of specific experience and 3 years of international experience.
- Chief Civil Design Engineer - The ideal candidate must have a minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related fields and more than 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years of experience in positions of railway projects and 3 years of international experience in project implementation of railway projects
- Chief Engineer – (Civil) - The ideal candidate must have a minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related fields and more than 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years of experience in positions of railway projects and 3 years of international experience in project implementation of railway projects.
- Chief Engineer – (Environment) - The ideal candidate must have a minimum Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering or related fields and more than 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years of experience in positions of railway projects and 3 years of international experience in project implementation of railway projects.
