Description:
We are looking to hire a researcher with a background in social-sciences / qualitative / ethnographic research and / or socio-ecological research, to assist in analysing contextual socio-economic data for characterising local demand for sustainable land-use practices.
Qualification:
Ability to conduct systematic literature reviews and qualitative interviews.
Ability to liaise with external partners and local people, and communicate effectively, both in Kannada and English is essential.
Demonstrated ability to organize work, manage time, determine priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge on and work experience on institutional governance structures for landscape restoration will be advantageous.
Ability to ride a two-wheeler will be advantageous.
