Description:
We are looking to hire an editor with a background in social sciences to assist in producing high-quality outputs based on the research done at the centre. The ideal candidate should be able to handle a wide range of material, from op-eds to academic papers, and have a good sense of how to disseminate evidence-based strategies and adapt to varying contexts.
Qualification:
5 years of relevant work experience, i.e. candidate with a background in journalism, research communication.
Bachelors or Masters degree in journalism/mass communication or environmental studies or fields related to the areas WELL Labs focuses on
Proficient in writing and editing a wide range of outputs.
Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to independently execute multiple ongoing projects
Ability to distil academic and research work into more accessible forms of writing
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with cross functional stakeholders
Fluency in Kannada, Telugu or Hindi is desirable.
