Description:
Perform work planning, designing, constructing, modifying or improving and maintaining facilities either by in-house or contractual effort; regulate and enforce environmental engineering policies, programs, or activities by establishing standards, promoting improvements, evaluating compliance and, if necessary, directing action to secure satisfactory environmental results.
Preparation of the technical aspects of contractual documents, framing the engineering and technical terms of references and conducting bid process for the selection of consultants and/or contractors.
To oversee timely compliance with environmental audits.
Provide environmental guidelines and assistance in training as necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
To perform investigate, measure and evaluate environmental conditions and carry out relevant research, development, planning, design, advisory and related engineering activities. Experience in transportation systems in:
Non-motorized transport (NMT)
City Bus Services (CBS)
Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS)
Rail-based Transit System (LRT/MRTS)
Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) / Comprehensive Traffic and Transport studies
Transit Oriented Development (TOD)
Apart from the above assist Sr. Manager (Transport Planner) in all related works.
Qualification:
Master's in Transport Planning/Urban Transport Planning/ Transport Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of working experience post qualification in Transport Planning/ Transport Engineering related implementation and operations including smart City components.
Knowledge of Government policies, acts and framework related to development in Urban Transport and Government schemes/programmers
Experience of handling project relationships across various agencies
Ability to supervise outsourced work through agencies and quality management of outputs
Ability to work across domains and grasp domain essentials within a short time to be able to deliver projects
Experience of Four Stage Travel Demand Modelling and Financial Modelling in transport sector would be an added qualification.
