Project Coordinator

Type: Contract - 10 months – Extendable as per project needs

Salary: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 /-(CTO) per month as per the qualifications and experience 

Description: SEEDS is looking for Project Coordinator, who has efficiency in operations, managing resources and team members for a project in west Bengal under AMPHAN Cyclone response 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and work closely with all relevant partners, including government departments.
  • Coordinate and liaison with state and district authorities
  • Develop work plan and monitor progress of the deliverables
  • Process management against outcome and indicators
  • Ensure proper management of funds
  • Tracking of Activity Expenses and reporting on any major variations
  • Supervise the work of all staff and consultants, partner’s staff engaged in the project
  • Management of day to day project activities with timely inputs to the field team
  • Ensure weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as per guidelines
  • Ensure accountability towards all stake holders
  • Undertake any other relevant tasks as required for the project.
  • Coordination with Head Office of SEEDS in Delhi.
  • Participate in TAM 1, TAM 2 and TAM 3 meetings

Educational requirements:

  • Master’s in social work or any equivalent degree in social science/humanities
  • PG/diploma/certificate courses in Project management or/and Disaster management 

Experience requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in Developmental Organization

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in managing construction work for transitional shelters, school’s refurbishment and hospital refurbishment
  • Experience in conducting DRR, WaSH session and in capacity building of community
  • Project management

  • HR management skill
  • Good Advocacy and Communications skills
