Description: As Geographic Information Systems Analyst you will be working on the inhouse geospatial consumer data-base, its development and enhancement. This job offers working together with a highly qualified Big Data Business Analyst team and GIS Product Developer team.
Participating in the MMS.IND product development will provide valuable insights into today’s market segmentation approaches, micro-marketing tools and systems, consumer profiling.
Joining the GIS product development team will incorporate working at the various levels in the total product assembling process, e.g. there will be variety being involved in the multi stage development from all angles. Together with your team members you will be working on the inhouse geospatial consumer data-base, its development and enhancement. You will be utilizing business insight as well as technical and data processing knowledge.

- B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc./M.Sc./M.C.A. or related fields
Experience requirements
- Minimum 3 years
Desired Skills:
- Mapping System Work - Being fluent in using standard mapping software is an absolute MUST HAVE:
- Fully hands on in perfoming:
- Creating thematic maps
- Buffering and working with Objects, Move/Copy objects from one layer to another layer
- Georeferencing maps, Creating layers with Desired Fields, Vectorization, Modify
- Data (Spatial and Non spatial)
- Table work, such as Update Column, Create Points, Combine Objects Using
- Column
- Selecting and Querying Data (SQL select)
- Geoprocessing
- Geospatial Database - Familiar with PostgreSQL or any other Geospatial database to carry out following
- Create database
- Upload Tab/Shp files
- Create points from latitudes / longitudes
- Perform spatial queries such as intersect, nearest, buffer, etc.
- Good to have
- Python programming skills for data extraction, data analysis and data visualization
- GeoServer
