Applications are invited for filling up the post of Member (Planning) in Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA)
Responsibilities:
  • The incumbent will be primarily responsible for advising the Authority on policy issues pertaining to all types of commercial development of land including re-development of colonies, Railway Stations etc. These will include, but not be limited to, legal and regulatory issues, e.g. land use, development control norm, urban planning and management of real estate etc. The work would involve coordination with local municipal bodies, Development Authorities as well as other State and Centrart bodies/organizations as required from time to time for resolving various issues. The job would also involve scrutiny and vetting of various contractual provisions in Agreements with Developers and other stakeholders as necessary, e.g. Development and Lease Agreements etc. 
  • The incumbent will function as a full time Member of the RLDA Board and participate in the decision making process of the Authority as envisaged.
Educational requirements:
  • The applicant should possess an MBA or a Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from a recognised Institution or University; and
Experience requirements:
  • Should have ten years experience in Town/Urban Planning or in the management of land and property in relation to its legal, engineering and managerial aspects; and 
  • Should be an officer from outside Railway administration working in Central Govt./State Govt. or Central/State Public Sector Unit or Authorities/Bodies having a minimum total service experience of 22 years in the respective organization serving in the pay Band of Rs.37,400-67,000/= with Grade Pay of Rs.8,600/- or above in CDA scale or its equivalent in IDA or other scales and his cumulative evaluation of Annual Confidential Reports/APARs of last five years prior to meeting of the Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) should not be less than 22 points.
