Description: 
    • As a rapidly growing division, the Impact Projects team commissions projects, conducts due diligence research and carries out all the impact project related actions within the Venture. Just this past quarter(Jan-March`21), the team commissioned the removal of over 275000 KGs of plastic waste that would have otherwise persisted in the environment. We make a difference.
    • The projects that we work on specifically relate to plastic waste recovery and include on-the ground implementation with our empaneled impact partners in their local geographies, conducting baseline assessments for specific locales and other related tasks to end-to-end project management.
    • The Impact Project Internship program is designed to give current graduate students, recently graduated graduates and young professionals a thorough and impactful experience in the rapidly evolving sector of waste management based social enterprises focused on plastic waste recovery and its treatment. You will be reporting directly to Kamal Raj, Director of Impact Projects at rePurpose Global to guide you through these projects and hone your skills.
    Requirements:
    • 0-2 years of internships/part time/ short term or full time experience in grass roots Impact organizations, project management, field survey work or on the ground implementation.
    • University/Department led survey studies, NGOs, MUNs, volunteering with NGOs, primary data collection or program management experience.
    • MSW, MA, MBA or any other post graduate degree students looking for grassroots training Preference will be given to applicants living in the same city as the host organization.
    • Organizational skills, stakeholder management, field work, fluency in written and spoken  English and native regional language, strong problem solving, basic to advanced statistical skills on MS Excel.
