Qualification:
M. Tech/M.sc in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering/Earth Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences/Chemical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in air quality modeling, emission inventory development, aerosol source apportionment, trace gasses, or remote sensing of atmospheric pollution.
Candidates with M. Tech/M.Sc with 2+ years of relevant experience and a strong academic background in the above-mentioned areas are also encouraged to apply.
Strong programming skills with experience in big-data analysis, preferably in Earth System Science or climate data.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
NET/JRF/Direct-SRF/GATE qualifications in Environmental Sciences/Earth
Sciences/Physical Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Engineering Sciences, etc. Basic understanding of statistics and socio-economic and policy issues related to air quality and climate change.
Ability to work well both independently and with a diverse group of people.
